6 Reason Why I Chose Tumblr
WHAT IS TUMBLR
Tumblr combines, blogging, micro-blogging (think Twitter) in one platform. It unifies everything I enjoy about Twitter, Blogger and Facebook in a clean, well designed package. Here is a short list of why I like Tumblr.
Ease of Use

Want to post a video or picture? Great, just paste a URL into the “add a video” field, hit post and voila you’re done. Tumblr offers a WYSIWYG editor and HTML capabilities.
Unique Post Creation

Are you on the go? There is a Tumblr app for Iphone, Android and Blackberry. Do you find it hard to logon? Tumblr provides a unique email address where you can send post and it will publish automatically. You can even call in an audio blog, instant message a blog from AIM, or use the “Post to Tumblr Button” on your toolbar.
Customizable

Not only can you get some already beautiful templates on which to build your Tumblr page, there are dozens of free and paid ones put together by some very creative designers. It is easy to give your page some style and unique elements without much design know-how. You can even give your site a domain name with little cost or effort.
Connectivity
Me and my buddy Ed from EdtheSportsfan.com were just talking about how Twitter helps to connect people in ways that Facebook can’t. It allows you to share your experiences with new friends, whereas Facebook is only good for letting you stalk the people you already know, or used to know. Tumblr is more like Twitter but better at connecting you with people with similar interests. Without hashtags it is hard for Twitter users to be “interest-specific”.
Dashboard Stream

The Tumblr dashboard is a stream. It pulls in all the content of the people you follow. Instead of twitter-like snippets and links, there are videos, quotes and pictures pictures, quotes, and videos in one place.
I Really Like It - Self Explanatory
If you’re not Tumbling, you should try. It is a fun way to share and create worthwhile content for and with others.
